Dedicated sound person needed for busy Downtown nightclub. Must be experienced in both live music (mic'd instruments and vocals) AND electronic music (vinyl, CDJs, subs, etc.). We are open 7 days a week and feature a wide variety of artists, every night. We sometimes have two performances occurring simultaneously, as we have two event areas. Times and schedule can be erratic so flexibility is a must. Responsibilities include: Communicating with artist prior to event to ascertain the needs of the artist for optimal sound performance, Processing correct sound clarity and volume levels during performances, Managing equipment inventory at beginning and end of every event. Reporting state of sound equipment to house management in a timely manner. Bilingual (Spanish) a plus. Professionalism and punctuality a MUST! Email resume with references to this post.
