Description
A New Beginner Tai Chi class is starting on November 8th at the Harwich Council on Aging. Classes will meet on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m.
Also known as "moving meditation," Tai Chi can help improve balance, core strength, flexibility, boost immunity, and provide a mind-body connection as a source for stress relief.
Participants will learn the easy Tai Chi Eight Form (Yang style), a basic sequence of movements open to all ages and abilities. No special equipment or previous experience is necessary. Each hour-long class will also incorporate stretching warm-ups, Qigong breathing exercises, and an introduction to Traditional Chinese Medicine concepts of energy flow through the body for healing and vitality
