Country Club Apartments, a Manor Communities property www.manorcommunities.com is looking for an experienced, customer-focused Maintenance Technician to join our team. In addition to providing our residents with expert service for their home’s mechanical systems and appliances, you will assist with apartment renovations and other property maintenance-related services. Our team members are focused on providing quality service. Standard work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM but include “on call” sharing and occasional weekend work as needed. We offer competitive compensation, and benefits, as well as paid overtime opportunities. Responsibilities: As a Maintenance Technician, you will complete service requests. Providing expert troubleshooting and repair services to a variety of appliances, residential HVAC equipment, plumbing and other maintenance needs. Maintaining a professional and friendly disposition and serving as an advocate for the company. Specific duties include: Responsible for the completion of all maintenance service requests as assigned. Troubleshooting and repairing residential appliances and HVAC equipment, electrical and plumbing Complete the renovation process of vacant apartments. Preparing accurate daily paperwork Responsible for being on-call for emergency maintenance service. Utilizing all applicable safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintaining a clean and neat service van and properly accounting for assigned tools and parts inventory. Perform other duties as assigned. Specific qualifications include: High School Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred) 2 years’ experience in Maintenance 2 years’ experience in Appliance Repair (Preferred) 2 years’ HVAC Service & Installation (Preferred) Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy. Exceptional technical skills as well as strong communication skills Willingness to expand your technical and repair knowledge; obtain new licenses and commitment to professional growth. Ability to support our company as an advocate. Must be able to work independently while safely maintaining a high level of performance.
