1. WHO IS Municipal Maintenance Co.??? We are a mechanical service service company in the water and wastewater industry. We are a medium sized family owned business has been serving the Philadelphia region for over 50 years. 2. WHAT DO WE WANT IN AN APPLICANT? We are looking for physically fit and hard working people. Our ideal candidate is a individual who works on his own car, races dirt bikes, works on a farm, works on his/her own car, is into hunting, boating, drag racing... etc.. If you hobbies are just video games and social media this probably isn't the job for you. 3. WHY WORK AT MMC? The number one reason is pay. We do a percentage of our work at "prevailing wage". Prevailing Wage is when we are required by law to pay our employees the "prevailing" Union Wage. When working on these jobs our guys make $55-$90+ per hour depending on the discipline. Because of this our guys make 60-80k annually working only 40 hours a week. WHAT WOULD I HAVE TO DO TO BE AN EMPLOYEE? - Must be able to pass a drug test - Must be physically fit and capable of lifting 50lb's repeatedly - Clean driving record - Must have a can-do attitude and be willing to do tasks that may be outside of your everyday duties. -Able to work evening and weekend emergency calls as needed(3-4 times a year) - More experienced candidates will be required to have their own hand tools - Maintain a DMC medical card
