Hurricane Ian has come and gone, but the damage and destruction that was left in the aftermath is one for the record books. Everyone was affected in one way shape or form, but the local farms of our area were absolutely destroyed. This 'once in a lifetime' storm has set back farms growing timelines months and/or even years. The outpour of support and man power to help these farms get back up on their feet has been amazing. Yet without crops to sell to begin repairs and rebuilding, they are in dire need of donations. Three local restaurants/chefs refuse to sit back and do nothing. Steve Phelps of Indigenous, Drew Adams of Meliora and Anthony Petralia of Tralia are coming together for one night to raise as much money as possible to help these farms get back up and running!
These six farms listed below is where all the proceeds will be donated to help them get back up and running.
Homestead Hydroponic Farm
Grove Ladder Farm
Wildside Farm
Worden Farm
Sun Shrimp
Blumenberry Farms
We will also have a silent auction during the evening with items from local businesses to help raise even more money for the farms.
Thank you so much in advance for your support and we look forward to seeing you on November 6th.
