As part of the Department of Labor’s Apprenticeship Ambassador initiative, the Hampton Roads Workforce Council and Oceaneering International are hosting a State-Wide Apprenticeship Convening during National Apprenticeship week. The event will be held at Tidewater Community College in Portsmouth, Virginia. If you have a registered apprenticeship or are thinking of starting one, please join us on November 17th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM for guest speakers, a spotlight employer, information on the state of the workforce and best practices groups to include Recruiting, Retention, Funding, Policy/Regulations, and DEI.
