The local Louisville-based band, Weary Bones, got its start when two friends, Dave Henry and Scott Shirk started playing and creating music together back in late 2020. At first, the two focused on learning songs by other artists such as Neil Young, Anders Osbourne, Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter, Jason Isbell, among others, and then began writing their own songs, many of which became the first Weary Bones album, Humble Echoes released in June 2022. As Weary Bones continues establishing itself up and down the Front Range of Colorado, Dave and Scott are paying homage to their original roots by playing a very special show as a duo at The Louisville Underground on Saturday November 19, 2022.
