In 1865, the Ashland Distillery was established, the first to obtain a federally registered distillery license, and was assigned RD#1. Today, the remains of the original distillery can be found at what is now the entrance to Lexington’s Distillery District. In 2021, RD1 Distillery was reborn with the mission to offer a portfolio that inherits the storied history of the distillery but also a quality worthy of Lexington’s legendary whiskey heritage. We will be sampling their new products including RD1 KY Straight Bourbon and RD1 KY Straight Bourbon finished in French Oak. There may also be some surprise pours as well. Our featured speaker will be Barry Brinegar, Executive Vice President at RD1 Spirits. We'll have tasty appetizers and awesome door prizes, as always. You must be 21 or over to attend this event. The Bourbon Brotherhood is a monthly gathering of men who enjoy bourbon and camaraderie. Please drink responsibly.
