Description

Alamo Heights UMC - 825 E Basse Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209 As Rio Texas congregations begin to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic, many are struggling with restarting or revitalizing their ministries, as well as discerning the need for new ways to reach beyond the walls of their churches. “4 E’s” intends to offer resources and support to help Engage, Encourage, Equip, and Empower our laity and clergy to grow more mission-ready churches. NORMALIZING NEXT™ is an excellent resource that complements all four of our “E’s”, as it is about recognizing and realizing that we don’t have to be afraid of the future and that we can plan and develop strategies for our churches…now. NORMALIZING NEXT™, a copy of which will be provided for every attending church, offers hope and inspiration to those who are seeking or sensing a change in their local church and community. OLU BROWN will offer tools and inspiration for leaders hoping to emerge from these past two years as even more vital congregations! Seating is limited. Please register before November 28, 2022. Registration Fee - $30 for 1-3 individual tickets from one church or $100 for 4-5 individuals from one church (includes the book Normalizing Next™: A POST-COVID-19 Resource for Church Leaders, lunch & snacks)OLU Brown, a friend of the Rio Texas Annual Conference, is a former church planter who helped start one of the largest United Methodist churches in the United States. He is an effective coach and consultant for churches, businesses, and leaders. The Rio Texas Black Church Development Design Team invites Olu Brown as a part of our “4 E’s” initiative. His insight is valuable for all congregations. OLUBROWN.COM Offered to All Rio Texas Congregations by The Rio Texas Black Church Development Team
