The ICAA and Simes Studios invite you to a workshop on Eglomise: the art of back painted and gilded glass. During the event, a brief historical introduction will be presented, showing finished prototypes and photos of Eglomise installations, as well as a hands-on practice of selected techniques on small glass panels. By the end of the event each attendee will have tried one technique on a small glass sample that can be taken home! Glass samples and materials will be provided by Simes Studios, together with cheese and wine for an evening of mingling and learning.
