STRENGTH IN THE CITY and Jay Taylor of Current Vibrations proudly present a beautiful opportunity to release, relax, and connect. We know you give a lot to the ones you love, but around the holidays we sometimes give too much and compromise our own health. The theme for the night is #ActsOfKindness and we are providing you with an array of experiences and opportunities to give back to yourself. This night is about filling your cup through sound meditation, massage, and community interaction. We will also be hosting a variety of local vendors that specialize in products designed to meet your needs as well as an open bar if you’re interested. Take the night to act kindly to yourself and join us for this one of a kind experience! Schedule of Events: 6:00pm | Doors Open explore the galleries, shop the local vendors, settle into the space7:00pm | Sound Bath Begins option for massage to be received during the sound meditation to enhance your experience8:00pm | Social hour shop local vendors, enjoy the open bar, mingle with your community9:00pm | Event ends Event Overview: THE MEDITATION: Jay Taylor of Current Vibrations will share a brief lesson in meditation followed by some light breathing and a beautiful crystal bowl sound meditation. Regardless of your experience in meditation, this is the perfect opportunity to go inward for this intention driven experience. MASSAGE COMPONENT: Now Massage will also be joining us to provide 5 minute massages to those who so choose that ticket option to add yet another self-care element into the evening. You will be able to choose if your massage if focused on your shoulders, head, or feet when you get on site. MUSEUM GALLERY/EVENT SPACE: 21C Hotel & Museum is providing their beautiful gallery so that the setting of the meditation is already an enjoyable and calming experience. LET’S GIVE BACK: On the theme of 'Acts of Kindness' we will be doing a drive for personal care items to donate to the Care for Real foundation. For every item you bring in, you will receive a raffle ticket (ex: 10 bottles of body wash = 10 raffle tickets). All items should be brand new and in original packaging. Care for Real's mission is to foster a healthy and equitable community by helping neighbors and families overcome food insecurity with dignity. Help us give back to them!
