JOB DESCRIPTION The Maintenance Technician will report to and work directly with the Director of Maintenance. The Maintenance Department is responsible and accountable for all upkeep, maintenance, and service functions of the (2) Verner locations. QUALIFICATIONS High School Diploma or GED Ability to perform general repair work An understanding of plumbing, wiring, and basic construction Valid NC Driver’s license and good driving record Experience with project management a plus Previous plumbing experience is a plus Pass a state and federal background check RESPONSIBILITIES As assigned by the Director of Maintenance responsibilities will include, but are not limited to plumbing, cleaning, painting, electrical work, & carpentry Respond to work orders for repair and maintenance work in a timely manner Basic building repairs and upgrades Perform landscaping duties at all (2) Verner locations Assemble purchased equipment and furniture Perform routine maintenance and repair of playground equipment and grounds Other duties as assigned BENEFITS & COMPENSATION Free freshly prepared lunch daily Continuing education & training opportunities Opportunity to work with a great team in an inclusive work environment Affordable Medical, Dental, & Vision insurance after 90 days of employment.
