MISSION To improve the well-being of children by increasing the number of children growing up with engaged, committed, and responsible fathers or male role models. M.A.N. C.A.V.E. VISION MC seeks to take a leadership role and encourages positive relationships of fathers and male role models with their children. We promote the importance of nurturing fathers and mothers, parenting and Healthy Marriages, and in doing so, improve the lives of children and families. Summit Theme “A Father's Love is Forever Imprinted on His Child’s Heart” Every child deserves a NURTURING FATHER - A man who actively provides guidance, love, and support to enhance the development and growth of children for whom he cares. Men who invest in their emotional connection to children, often improve their marital relationships as well (Carlson & Turner, 2010). M.A.N. C.A.V.E. (Men All Need to be Caring, Actively-Engaged, Vested and Encouraged) was created to improve the well-being of children by increasing the number of children growing up with engaged, committed, and responsible fathers or male role models. We promote the importance of nurturing fathers and mothers, parenting, and healthy marriages, and in doing so, improve the lives of children and families. The City of Phoenix Birth to Five Program, Greater Phoenix Urban League, and My Brother’s Keeper is pleased to present the 2022 Fatherhood Summit. This professional development opportunity is for those who have a vested interest in raising boys into men, girls into women, and the impact fathers have in their lives. This summit is intended for mothers and fathers, male role models, and community partners who intentionally work to support fathers and men in their unique roles in a child’s life. During the Fatherhood Summit, you will have the opportunity to learn from a variety of professionals who support the importance of positive male engagement influences. The summit is a positive, life-affirming, science-based, and practically focused professional development and networking event focused on changing the lives of children and families through father engagement. We are excited to be back in person, but we will still offer this summit virtually. Join us to hear nationally recognized speakers, participate in a variety of workshops, dialogue with others, and build new relationships. We hope the Fatherhood Summit will provoke some personal and professional reflection to help build a community where men are caring, actively -engaged, vested, and encouraged in Arizona.
