Attendees will need to already have a basic understanding of how to operate their shotgun. This class will focus on getting everything out of the shotgun that it can give us. Topics will include, but are not limited to the following. - Recoil mitigation techniques - Reloading and loading techniques - Storage best practices - Shooting and moving - Select slug techniques - Transitioning to secondary firearms - Target discrimination process - Post engagement process You will need to bring the following - A reliable 12ga shotgun (12ga Only) - Eye and ear protection - 300 rounds of birdshot - 50 rounds of slug - 40 rounds of buckshot - 15 rounds of high quality buckshot - A chair, snacks, and water There is a $60 range fee payable to the range owner on the first day of class.
