re Biden reminds us

Description

In 2008-9, we suffered the worst economic depression since the Great Depression. Banks were failing, and we were told the FDIC did not have funds to cover deposits. The stock market took a nosedive and remained rock bottom. I lost half the value of my retirement savings (15 years' worth) in three months. I lost half of that in another three. One night on our walk, my wife and I counted more than half the homes on our mile long circle drive were in foreclosure, and we live in a moderately affluent suburb. Businesses were failing, people were out of work, college graduates with advanced degrees could not get work even at McDonalds. But none of the Republicans on this board would acknowledge that the policies of George W. Bush were responsible. Now, after Donald John Trump shut the nation down, I mean EVERYTHING. The only thing open were a few gas stations, liquor stores and grocery stores. You drove and it looked like a ghost town. No one was working. Store shelves were empty. The produce looked like they had been holding it for weeks, and people were fighting over it. I had to go to three grocery stores every shopping day in order just to feed us. Of course our economy is in shambles. Why wouldn't it be? And now all the fat cats want their stimulus check so they are gouging us. But hey, when you are a partisan hack, it's easy to blame it on ole Joe Biden, isn't it?
