As your career progresses, so can your earnings. You could be earning $3500-$6000 or more when transitioning to a commission-based scale. Requirements We understand that being a Roadside Rescue Tow Driver can be demanding, and as such is not for everyone. To be considered for this role please have the following with regard to: • Education- High school diploma or equivalent • Experience- Always preferred but will train. Familiarity with automotive maintenance and repair also a plus. • Skills- Excellent communication skills • Credentials- As we have multiple roadside rescue service contracts with various companies and departments, all drivers must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, be able to pass a criminal background check, and pass a pre-employment drug screening. • Characteristics- Helping those who are stressed and frightened can be challenging. You will need to be understanding while also being professional. We are a business of ethics, integrity, and empathy, and we need our rescue drivers who represent us to share those same ideals. Responsibilities As P&M Automotive’s Emergency Roadside Responder you are relief to the frightened and stressed. You are helping someone in need on what is an unfortunate or in some cases tragic day. While representing us in the community, you will be responsible for: • Liaising with law enforcement, dispatchers, and the community • Listening well when a customer is relaying information about their experience. • Strategizing to determine the best course of action with regards to a vehicle and its uninjured passengers • Fulfilling needs according to the situation be it performing minor roadside repairs or towing a vehicle to a repair facility or salvage destination. • Detailing each encounter clearly and thoroughly APPLY TODAY!
