Description
I was tempted to make a swing down your way this morning, though I know it’s an exercise in futility.
I told my elderly father that I was going for a drive, when he popped up from his recliner and started to put on his shoes.
Instead of going southeast alone, we drove southwest to the coast.
I spent the day with my dad, stopping for lunch in Taft by the bay.
I’m grateful that I allowed providence to steer me from disappointment.
Even the rain stopped during our two hours at the sea.
Time is valuable and I prefer to spend it with those who want to be with me.
