Ensure assigned personnel are tasked economically and efficiently and assigned projects are completed in a timely manner in accordance with applicable plans and specifications as well as company policies and procedures. • Carry out specific work plans assigned by the Superintendent • Plan project and coordinate with Superintendent to prevent nonproductive time • Monitor all work as it is being performed to ensure that it conforms with the requirements of the plans and specifications, as well as established standards of the company • Ensure that work progresses according to schedule; provide information concerning job progress, costs, etc., to the general superintendent as needed • Ensure proper staffing of the project • Ensure that all required materials are purchased and delivered to the jobsite prior to need; materials must be accounted for prior to signing shipping papers. • Enforce safety and health standards at each project in accordance with OSHA Standards • Resolve any routine problems and communications pertaining to employees, subcontractors, general contractors • Ensure proper staffing of the project • Evaluate crew members in accordance with established company guidelines in the Safety Program as well as the Employee Handbook • Assure compliance by crew members with Safety & Loss Control Program as well as all company rules, regulations and procedures • Ensure proper care, use and maintenance of all equipment and material at the jobsite including but not limited to Company Vehicles • Responsible for storage of company property used on the project in a safe and secure location, and its return in good condition • Perform punch list upon completion of each project prior to inspection by the manufacture. • Responsible for such other and further duties as may be assigned from time to time by the company’s General Superintendent • Documentation – Timely, complete and appropriate submission of daily job reports, toolbox talks, extra work orders, photographs and other relevant backup, turning in hours, etc. • Strive for a goal of zero punch list items prior to the crew leaving the job site. • Daily and weekly contact with customer for review of job progress and issues. • Provide job progress photos. • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements: 5 years roofing experience GED/HS Diploma Valid driver's license
