I'm giving the CL/community/politics page one star because it made me realize this place -is a toilet- I imagine an author sitting here with an iPad instead of a Sharpie, admiring their drawings of dicks, stolen words and disrespectful language; laughing at tasteless jokes and crude pictures, spreading feces and divisiveness. In days past, toilet bandits defaced a few bathroom walls. Now, internet trolls can sling their digital diarrhea around the world. What a remarkably useless display of immaturity and intellectual poverty. Maybe some can't help themselves; others can't think for themselves. No matter how the message is spread or what side is chosen, thanks for all the great posts here on CL/community/politics, and so many examples confirming that; • “Insults are the lowest form of expressing a disagreement.” • “Those who make use of insults reveal a great deal about themselves; their recalcitrant intolerance, childish frustration, lack of both manners and empathy, and their dubious intelligence.” • “An insult dishonors the one who utters it, not the one who receives it.” Don't forget to flush!
