Mountain Valley Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, located in Prescott Valley AZ, is a 44 bed facility providing Home Health and both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to people recovering from disabilities caused by injuries or illnesses. We help our patients regain their physical or cognitive abilities so they can return home at their highest level of independence. Nationally Recognized: Our hospital has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care, and has earned The Joint Commission’s advanced stroke certification. The Floor Tech is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning duties to ensure the hospital physical environment meets established standards for cleanliness and sanitation, and meets all infection control and safety standards for the facility. This includes, but is not limited to, maintaining the cleanliness of the floors and furniture using a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals. Qualifications/Skills: * Previous floor technician/environmental services experience preferred. * OR any equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional Qualifications/Skills: *Healthcare or other hospitality environment experience preferred. *Minimum one (1) year of floor care experience preferred. *Working knowledge of proper procedure for preparing and maintaining various types of floor coverings preferred. *Working knowledge of various floor care products common to the industry and ability to properly and safely use these products. * Ability to project a professional image. *Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. *Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. *Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. *Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. *Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
