Westminster Presbyterian is searching for a Weekend Custodian. The Weekend Custodian is responsible for custodial care of the Church and support for events held during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). Hours would typically be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Cleaning as directed and situations arising from building use on the weekend - Set-up and teardown for events held during the weekend. This includes PA/sound equipment, tables and chairs, and lighting as required by the event - Responsible for building and grounds security during the weekend - Greet groups as they arrive for their events and facilitate their use of the building - Insure building supplies are maintained through the weekend - Report maintenance issues requiring repairs - Utilize safe work practices OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: - None QUALIFICATIONS: - Knowledge of PA/sound, security, heating, mechanical, and plumbing systems - Ability to work in a Church environment - Ability to communicate in English - Ability to work independently
