The ominously creative dark day of the “13x13 Monster Mash” show is approaching quickly… it is going to be Epic! Curated by @calebjay.art in collaboration with @adxportland 150 artists have answered the call. Each will manifest a creature in the medium of their choice and share it with the world. It is literally going to be terrifyingly radical. The only thing light will be the snacks… and even some of those will be dark. 💀 Monday October 31st from 2pm-9pm. Free and open to all. Costumes encouraged!!! RSVP on our website: 1) Costumed figure drawing event. A local artist has meticulously created a costume that she will pose in for two hours. We are allowing 15 artists to register for this and it will take place from 6-8pm. The cost is a sliding scale donation from $13-$31. The artist will receive 70% of the donations. We will have just 12 paid slots, and 3 subsidized slots for artists with limited funds. Reserve your space here on our website ⚡️⚡️ 2) Come listen to the dark sounds of “The Other Place” a duo who currently have practice and recording space in @thehivemusichub. Inspired by powerful industrial music they will give us a mixture of crafted musical offerings and ambient jam.
