I’m looking for someone that can take care of a previously abused dog. We adopted this beautiful lab mix a few weeks ago from the gulf coast humane society, but he’s been treated terribly by prior owners. I tried to give him the time he needed to get back to feeling more comfortable around humans but I just can’t provide what he needs at this time. He’s ok around other dogs (takes some time) he’s great around my kids and wife but he’s very scared of male presence. I’m not asking for any rehoming fee. I just need to make sure he will be cared for. He’s a great dog, he just needs some help. He will come with bowls and a collar and a little food bag that was provided when we adopted him.
