Church of the Saviour in Wayne, PA, is looking for helpers to join our snow shoveling team this winter. Duties include clearing walkways of snow and ice using shovels, snow blowers (training provided if needed) and salt. We send a text message to team members a day or two before a potential snow event to confirm availability; another text is sent with the time to report. The pay is $20/hour with a guaranteed four-hour minimum. We provide food when the team works during a mealtime. Checks are mailed, or available for pick up at the church office, the week following a snow event. At the end of the season, each team member that arrived on-time for each snow event for which they were requested will receive a $5/hour bonus for every hour worked during the season.
