Receiving / Warehouse Associate: Special Deliveries caters to the needs of the top Interior Designers and Designer Showrooms offering numerous services to include thorough and inspected receiving, storage/warehousing, professional deliveries, expert art installation, and blanket wrap service. We are looking to hire an efficient and responsible Receiving / Warehouse Associate. Daily job responsibilities include: · Receiving, unpacking, and inspecting incoming furniture and product · Unloading furniture and product from trucks and ensuring proper placement in warehouse · Preparing furniture for delivery · Pulling furniture from our warehouse and loading onto the truck · Efficient installation and/or assembly of furniture at customer location · Simple furniture repair · Art / Mirror hanging · Daily interaction with clients providing excellent customer service · Sweeping, cleaning up work area Requirements: · Experience moving, loading, and/or receiving furniture is preferred (experience either with an Interior Designer or high-end furniture store a plus) · Simple furniture repair a plus · Art / Mirror hanging experience a plus · Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs and load and unload product utilizing proper handling techniques and equipment · Must be hardworking and take pride in your work · Must be timely and dependable · Must have strong customer service skills and a professional appearance · Must be willing to work as a team and take direction and feedback Pay and Benefits: · Pay = $18.00/hr · 40 hours Paid Sick Time after 90 days of employment · Paid holidays after 90 days of employment · One-week paid vacation after one year of service · Medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits – portion paid by the company · Retirement plan with company match · Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm.
