Researchers at George Washington University are interested in understanding how virtual social experiences influence well-being and pain perception. We are currently recruiting participants who identify as Black/African American. In this study, you will answer self-report questions and participate in brief virtual social interactions with other young adults in the area. To measure pain sensitivity, you will be putting your hand in a circulating bath of cold water and holding it as long as you can. You will receive $20 for participating in this study for one study visit. Please contact us for more information!
