Presented by the Waukesha County Historical Society & Museum (WCHSM) in partnership with Prairie Home Cemetery. Join on Friday or Saturday evening for a guided tour of the cemetery. Led by WCHSM's volunteer docents you'll hear from several historical figures about their lives, and learn about the history of Waukesha's oldest cemetery. Tour Dates & Times Friday Oct. 28, 5:30 pm, and 7:00 pm Saturday Oct. 29, 3:30 pm and (5:00 no longer available) Tour lasts approximately 60 - 75 minutes, walking and standing. While the main roads of the cemetery are paved, there is some uneven ground on the paths within the cemetery sections. Please park along Prairie Avenue and walk into the cemetery. Tour will start by the chapel. Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to check in, and bring: Comfortable walking & standing shoesFlashlight or headlampWeather appropriate dress: coats, gloves, rain ponchos / umbrellasTickets $15.00 / person $12.00 / WCHSM Members - BECOME A MEMBER proceeds support the Waukesha County Historical Society & Museum. Cancellation Policy: Tickets must be cancelled 24 hours in advance. Refunds cannot be issued with less than 24 hour notice. WCHSM reserves the right to cancel the program due to severe weather. Email notification will be sent at the beginning of the week, and a decision on a program cancellation will be made 24 hours in advance.
