Boat Washer/Detailer California Boat Care is the leader in providing the boat industry with the upkeep of their boats. You can be part of our team and earn a good living, enjoy holiday pay while working outside with an easy paced work environment. We are looking for a boat washer/detailer. This position is a full time 30 to 40 Hours. This is a trainee opening. If you have related experience all the better. You MUST have your own transportation. You will be working in two harbors on the same day and will need to move from marina to marina throughout the day. Having your own transportation is a must. You should live within 20 minutes of the coast. Living in Simi Valley doesn’t cut it. You must be agile and be able to work safely on top of boats on the water and on the hard. I need people who pay attention to detail and work at a quick pace. Most people think it’s fun in the sun and easy paced work. It can be, but it also is wet, hot or cold and detailed work. We work 8:30 to 4-5 Monday through Friday, with weekends off. Pay rate is based on experience. Unskilled trainees start at $16.50 per hour. We do background checks and drug testing.
