Santa is making a stop at Zion Lutheran Church in Waterville! On Saturday, November 19 from 10 AM - Noon. Santa will be visiting Zion to hear your Christmas wishes and take keepsake photos before he returns to the North Pole. As a sign of our gratitude, we invite you and your family to come join in on the fun. We welcome you to bring your kids, grandkids, or just yourself. There will be coffee, hot chocolate, and Christmas cookies provided. This is a free event. Since it is the season of giving, we will be collecting nonperishable food items to benefit the Anthony Wayne Community Food Ministry, which will be distributed to local families in need this holiday season. In addition to nonperishable food items, we will also be collecting monetary donations, which we will match 100% of. While a donation is not required, it is encouraged. The items that AWCFM is in most need of are: Canned Meats: Tuna, Chicken, Ham, Beef, etc.Canned Fruit: Peaches, Pears, Mandarin Oranges, Pineapple, etc.Cereal: Any type of boxed cereal.Pop Tarts and Other Breakfast Items: Pancake Mix, Breakfast Bars, etc.Peanut Butter: Plain Preferred.Mac and cheesePlease be sure to RSVP to the event ahead of time.
