Veterans Day Weekend come out to Fort Monroe for Answering the Call ! All Weekend long costumed historical interpreters will be sharing what life was like in the United States Military throughout American History. There will be tactical demonstrations, camp sites, historic vehicles and more! If you would like to recognize a First Responder or Veteran in your life, please add a message to them on our Message Board from October 28 - November 1`3. You can add it in person at the Visitor & Education Center or e-mail your message to [email protected]. On November 11, there will be a Special Program and Reception focusing on the transition from life in a military career to life as a Veteran.
