You're invited to join us virtually or in person on Saturday, March 4th for Banquet 38: Celebrating FifZy Years! This annual event is our chance to not only celebrate all things Radio, but all things WJPZ. Spend the evening with students and fellow alumni alike as we reconnect, reminisce on the past, and look toward the future of the radio industry. To book your room at the Sheraton, follow this link. The last day to book under the WJPZ Radio Station room block is Monday, February 6th, 2023. For our on-campus guests, the weekend schedule is below! Tentative Schedule Below:All Weekend On-Air Alumni Radio Shifts - Interested in going on the air Banquet Weekend? Choose a time on the sign-up sheet at a later date. Slots will be available first come, first served. Please note: Solo alumni are limited to one hour shows, two hours for groups for the weekend. Programming should be true to Z89’s current Top 40 format. Thursday, March 2 9:00 PM: Faegan’s "Pre-Show Meeting" - for the Thursday night arrivals. Friday, March 3 2:00 - 4:15 PM: Friday Conference, Room to be determined 4:15 - 6:00 PM: Networking/Reception Immediately following Friday Conference, with refreshments provided by Newhouse 6:30 - 8:00 PM: Dinner at Varsity 8:00 - 10:00 PM: Faegan’s Saturday, March 4 2:00 PM: Annual Alumni Meeting, Hall Of Fame Induction Ceremony and more coming soon 5:00 PM: Syracuse hosts Wake Forest - Catch the game in the Carrier Dome and support the Orange as they take on the Demon Deacons! Ticket link coming soon! 7:15 PM: Shuttle Service from the Sheraton to Drumlins begins. Please note the later start time. 7:30- 8:30 PM: Pre-Banquet Happy Hour, Drumlins Country Club 8:30 PM - 12:00 AM: WJPZ’s 37th Annual Birthday Banquet, Drumlins Country Club 12:00 AM: After-Hours begins Sunday, March 5 10:00 AM: WJPZ Alumni Brunch, Goldstein Alumni and Faculty Center - Finish off a great alumni weekend with a brunch for WJPZ alumni and the senior class WJPZ members. Hear remarks from fellow WJPZ alumnus Chris Velardi ’95. Enjoy a brunch buffet and cocktails while catching up with your fellow JPZers before you hit the road!
