The Nueva Luz Foundation welcomes you to our First Responders Summit! Our First Responders Summit aims to foster a supportive environment for first responders that allows them to understand the effects to stress,trauma, and PTSD and how it affects them physically and emotionally. Special Topics Include: Basics of TraumaBasic CopingSoft Tissue InjuriesRisk ManagementBrain-Trauma CycleHeart Rate VariabilityThe summit will also host panels of experts on the topics of suicide prevention, chaplaincy and peer facilitation. Our summit will be held at the beautiful Mission Event Center on December 13th, 2022. Participants of this summit will earn TCOLE and TEEX credits.
