On Saturday, October 29th, the Chattanooga design community and their families will meet at South Chickamauga Creek Greenway at 9:00am for a morning of volunteer work. We will be picking up litter and debris around the park. Wear good shoes, bring water, pack your bug spray and come ready to keep Chattanooga clean! All materials will be provided by the City of Chattanooga. Lunch will be provided afterwards to those who RSVP'd for a free lunch ticket. Where: The project site is located along Youngstown Road near Lightfoot Mill Road. What to Expect: We will be picking up litter and will be off-trail, working along both sides of the boardwalk and under the overpass. The ground may be steep and uneven. Gloves, litter grabbers and trash bags will be provided. We will cut back vegetation overgrowth as needed. Tools will be provided. What to Bring: Please wear close-toed shoes and long pants. Bring water. Weather: In the event of rain, we will reschedule. See you in the woods!
