I have 2 blue Cochin chickens (hens) Hatched week of april 6 so today making her about 6.5 months old One is slightly lighter (Rachael) and the other is darker (Phoebe) Rachel is friendly in arms and is easy to pick up :) Golden Laced Cochin (Hennessy) also 6.5 months old The Cochins don’t fly over fences Ancona chicken, (Peggy) she is the friendliest and will run to your arms all the time. My favorite girl. But our fences are short and she flies over to my neighbors house and lays eggs there :( They’ve been fed organic raw grains, all non gmo, high protein, high omega diet, with lots of fruit and greens. No corn and no soy for they are cheap fillets that have no nutritional value and soy is a big hormone disruptor. Also they’re on pasture every day from sun up to sun down. Selling them to a good home who need some egg layers. Trying diversify my egg basket colorings so selling a few to make room for others.
