The Sumter Benedict College Alumni Club is hosting its 2nd Annual Black-Tie Affair Fundraiser. Our mission is to build a legacy and continue the legacy by supporting Benedict College’s financial goals in providing high quality education to students by promoting fundraising events, soliciting donations, community involvement and giving scholarships to deserving students. We have an exciting and fun evening planned. The Mistress of Ceremonies is Vernessa Pendergrass, radio host on The Big DM 101.3. Our keynote speaker is Dr. Tyrone Burroughs, Benedict College Trustee and largest individual donor. Entertainment will be provided by the Ray Howard Band. Dance to the music of DJ Prince Ice from The Big DM 101.3 and enjoy a delicious meal prepared by Cassie's Catering. The donation is $75.00 and is tax deductible. All proceeds from this event will benefit Benedict College.
