This is a platform and mini collective that brings various creative and non-creative communities in unison and builds a platform for people to express themselves. We are bridging diverse perspectives through multimedia art and fashion. We are focused on bringing cohesion to the community by granting opportunities and changing perspectives that integrate and project beyond the fashion lens. What is the Black Heart Event? Created by the founder of Archangel Virtuoso, Angel Virtuoso, The BHE is a multimedia fashion show that proudly showcases and presents a range of mediums from dance to music to art. The purpose is to promote unity, diversify, and decolonize the creative and fashion industry, and challenge minds to what a fashion show can encompass. It is an exploration of inner self and is a direct reflection of Angel Virtuoso's experience in life at any given time. Theme/Purpose of the 3rd Annual? The Black Madonna is the first depiction of the Virgin Mary in history, holding an infant, Jesus, who is also of color. She is dressed in gold and jewels. Her spiritual themes include rebirth/destruction, nurturing/protection, ancient earth, goddess energy, and agricultural fertility. Angel Virtuoso is shedding a lot of layers, moving more on her path, and feels right to honor her.
