Meet Shadow. He is a one year old AussieDoodle. He is black in color with some white pepper hairs throughout his coat. He has a white T on his chest and white tips on his feet. He is 40-45lbs, current on his shots and microchipped. Both groomers we have worked with said he does well for his haircuts, too. He is super smart and learns quickly. His sense of smell is amazing. He may not be a true hunting dog but could do well being used as such. We have gone through puppy classes and he just keeps learning. He is also kennel trained. He is intact but is scheduled with a local vet to be altered in November. He absolutely loves children, though he's still working on the gentle part. He loves women and warms up slowly to men, he just needs to know that he can trust you. He LOVES running beside 4-wheelers and is doing quite well getting used to being leashed while running beside a bike. He loves fetch, chase, and tug. Though he’s getting used to cats, he would do best in a house with no cats. He does well with other dogs and would benefit from having a dog playmate. I feel this is why he tries to play with our cats so much. He needs space to run, whether that’s a fenced in yard or an open field, something we don't have. This is very hard for me. Allowing him to go to a new home was definitely not in my plans for him. My oldest boy is special needs with severe anxiety and, unfortunately, Shadow is causing it to spike. He will come with some things so let me know if you're in need of anything in particular to help care for Shadow. He does have one main quirk which I can share with you when we talk. I paid $500 for him and have invested hundreds more in puppy classes, leashes, harnesses and the like. So keep that in mind when you make me an offer.
