Teen Bass Player Looking for Band

I am 16 yo bassist looking for a few people to play with and maybe join or start a band. I tend to play Alternative Rock - Alt J, Death Cab for Cutie, Nirvana, RHCP and the similar. Anyone relatively close by that wants to jam? I have a basement we can use.
