Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) Job Description This is a part-time full time position Monday through Friday; some weekends may be required due to Crisis Situations. As a counselor, you will assist our members in gaining access to needed psychiatric, medical, social, residential, financial, and other services appropriate for the individual. You will be responsible for providing individual therapy session(s) and treatment plans for clients primarily. However, the full-time position shall provide individual or group treatment and other clinical services. You will be responsible for screenings, assessments, treatment planning, case load management, group/individual counseling, therapeutic interventions, crisis management and coordination of care. You will prepare intake and clinical documentation, progress notes, event notifications and other documentation regarding clients in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures. Requirements is as follows: • Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's /master’s degree in the field of study related to human services(Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work) by an accredited university with a minimum of two years’ work experience in the field. • License is not however, clinical oversight/supervision is “Required”. • Excellent communication skills • Strong ethics • Positive attitude • Team Player • Supervision hours will be provided to Unlicensed Counselors and 1 Family Clinic will be pay for these clinical supervision sessions. • Certifications with specific populations (trauma, DBT, Play Therapy) • Job Type: Full-time/Part-time • Pay: beginning at $50,000.000 - $70,000.00 per year • Schedule as follows • Weekend Availability may vary (Crisis Intervention Phone sessions may vary) Education: • Master's / Bachelor’s (Required) • State Licensed Counselor Certification (Required) Required Documentation Needed Upon Hire/Contractual Agreement • TB Test Current Documents (Required) • First Aid/ CPR Certification (Required) • Fingerprint Clearance Card (Required)
