It is with a heavy heart that I am rehoming my girls. I have gladly invested a LOT of time, money and love into both of them. I took on a new job to further my career and it requires I be away from home 8 hours more a week than my previous job. Those 8 hours have meant that the girls aren’t getting the attention they deserve. Mother (Briar) is about 20 months old. Daughter (Marigold) was born June 10th, 2022. Both are standard colored. Briar is the lighter (and first few pictures) of the pictures attached - Marigold is the darker. **Nothing is wrong with them.** They are both extremely healthy and social. Briar has been handled the most and longest (obviously) and never stays in a ball. She is happy to explore and cuddle anytime. Marigold is a bit more shy and much more independent, but she appreciates love too. They both take baths wonderfully and don’t mind having their feet washed and toe nails clipped (weekly). Hedgehogs are NOT for the faint of heart – or for someone with little free time. They require almost daily wheel washes from their poo – because they run ALL night long and poo at the same time – hence they need nightly foot baths to keep their feet clean and healthy. They also require superworms nightly – in addition to fresh food and water. Be prepared to buy a LOT of superworms (purchasing online is MUCH cheaper than buying them in pet stores (I can offer a few days worth - whatever my balance is) – they each eat around 15-20 a night – EACH! Dubia roaches would suffice too and they love to hunt for them in their dig box! They will come with their HUGE cage, 1 hedgehog tote that fits under their cage, 2 running wheels, a dig box, heat lamp, ceramic bulb, a month+ worth of food, their carrier for traveling, a bonding scarf that you can carry one at a time in, some super worms and homemade cage liners and sleep sacks. I can have the cage taken apart and boxed up before you arrive. The cage is customizable to the shape and size of your preference. Price is negotiable for the right family.
