Description
I'm a 32yo male living in NYC, originally from Eastern Europe. Grew up Christian Orthodox and became very religious in my late teens, to the point where I wanted to become a monk. Within 10 years I became very well versed in Christian theology and philosophy, by reading dozens of books and, of course, the complete Christian Bible -- twice.
A year ago I had what I call the "revelation", which opened up my eyes about Christianity, and came to the One G-d of Israel. I've read the entire Tanakh (Jewish Bible) as well as Kabbalah, Talmudic literature, Hassidic philosophy, and other ancient Jewish teachings.
I've interacted with many Jews, other converts as well as Rabbis from all denominations, and noticed that newcomers to Judaism don't get to benefit from a "cleanse" of old beliefs. I'm not talking about the belief in Jesus per se, but rather letting go of his teachings, and Church's teachings, which are deeply rooted in our unconscious. These impact our lives tremendously.
Albeit you can become a Jew on paper, the unconscious can't be that easily tricked. And some Talmudic Rabbis said that it takes 26 generations for the bloodline of a convert to fully let go of old, deeply rooted beliefs. Judaism is not only celebrating Holidays and eating Kosher. And those who were born Jews would never understand the difference because, well, they never experienced a Christian life.
The main, CRITICAL differences are related to:
- Good/Evil
- Sexuality
- Man-woman relationships
- MONEY
- Social interactions
And others...
This course is also good for those that want to find out WHY JUDAIASM DOESN'T ACCEPT JESUS AS THE MESSIAH.
I offer 1-1 and group classes, via Zoom.
Will offer support in your journey. This cannot be treated and commercialized as a "workshop", because we're dealing with very sensitive things.
Please reach out briefly introducing yourself. Look forward to hearing from you!
