I am looking for musicians to collaborate with and or to play parts for a concept album I am working on. I would love this project to turn into a band, but also am humble enough to realize that it may be challenging to have enough people interested to do so...
I have a love for acoustic sounds but also enjoy tasteful experimental electronic sounds. I appreciate patient music that goes somewhere. I practice utilizing restraint, but also appreciate letting go. I like when things break apart and sometimes get pieced back together. I appreciate when timely atonal moments and/or cacophony help create beautiful or powerful transitions.. transformative and transcending moments are the goal.
... i play guitar, keyboards/piano/synth but usually can find a way to make sounds that please my ear with just about anything.
Hoping to find a Cello player,
Multi instrumentalists guitar, pedal steel, or other stringed instrumentalists. Woodwind or brass would be awesome.
Also looking for Percussionist hoping to branch out further than just a drum kit. Gongs, fabricated percussion, rattles, bells etc. Symbol swells driving malleted rythms.. someone that can range from slow spacious ambient parts to full sounding yet not straight forward beats...
Right now I have some song sketches recorded. They give a feel and direction of the project but need to be developed further. Aspects of what I described above are lacking in these recordings. They are song sketches, not finished songs!
