Material Handler Job Responsibilities: Ensures orderly production by accurately pulling orders from inventory. Contributes to the operational organization of stock and/or materials. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and ensuring materials and supplies are stocked, recording location of inventory, and reports shortages. Locates materials by pulling and verifying quantities listed on packing slips. Packs product in preparation for shipment. Documents product shipment by recording units shipped. Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks and/or loading docks. Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean. Loads/unloads delivery vehicles. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted. Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations. Follows ALL Armor Guys policies and procedures. Material Handler Skills/Qualifications: Must be 18 Years of age or older Work experience as general laborer, preferably in warehouse Organizational Skills Ability to read and analyze information Possess strong people skills, a positive attitude and works toward team’s common goals Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines Excellent time management skills Must be agile, dexterous, undeterred by heights, and capable of working in adverse climatic environments Knowledge of inventory control Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements: High school diploma or GED Previous stock or inventory experience a plus Previous experience operating a forklift or pallet jack a plus Available to work extended hours as needed Complete background check and drug test Job Type: Full Time Location: Henderson, NV. Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm Starting Rate - $15.00 (hr) Compensation & Benefits: Medical/Dental/Vision Coverage Vacation, Sick and Personal Time Off
