We are a 4 piece rock band since 2015. We are not trying to be rock stars. No 'delusions of grandeur', but we are serious hobbyists. Not Metal.... think a cross between Collective Soul and BuckCherry. We are kind of two bands in one where we have heavy focus on our own music. We record, play shows, and do music videos. We've been very lucky and have opened up for national acts on the big stages, w/ more already on the books. But, we also have a catalog of covers where we will play the smaller venues for fun and help fund the originals side of the band. ....... What we are looking for: We are looking to add a 2nd guitar player in the rock style of Slash or Joe Perry. If you can write songs, have riffs? Huge bonus for us The obvious requirements, don't be a jerk to us, or a substance abuser, have your own gear, transportation, and a 'can do' attitude. We are seasoned musicians, which is to say we are older in our 50's. People do say we all look younger, 40's, so that's good we reckon. Must also have a day job/career that would not interfere with the times that a band would normally do what they do. Evenings/Weekend evenings. We trying to practice once a week at Band Oasis in Tempe or at a home in Chandler AZ, but it's more like 3 times per month Typical candidate is someone like us. Day job, mortgage, kids.
