I thought everyone played lead guitar?

Description

I'm in a band. We're all around 40 years old and are solid musicians with a dozen well-crafted, catchy songs already written. Our vibe is something like a bridge between mellow Alice In Chains to the more popular Pink Floyd songs. I have a problem though; our lead guitarist moved out of state in April and after several auditions and inquiries we just can't find the right person to take over. We'd like someone with great tone, but who also utilizes effects and can solo with taste. Not looking for Eddie Van Halen, as much as I love him... this is more of an alternative rock project. Guitarist comparisons that come to mind are John Frusciante from RHCP, David Gilmour from Pink Floyd, or even the overdrive tone that Bradley Nowell used to use in Sublime. We need someone who knows how to find their place within the song. Also someone who's easy-going... we like to laugh, have a few beers, and jam out in an effort to make these songs tighter with every rehearsal. If this sounds like you please respond. I have audio samples if you sound like a fit. Cheers!
