Volunteers with Parental History of Alcohol Problems Needed We are conducting a research study on the effects of alcohol consumption on sensory function in healthy adults. Participants must live in or near the Gainesville area. Participation involves three laboratory visits, consumption of beverages that may contain alcohol, sensory/pain testing, MRI scans of your brain, and compensation up to $255 We are looking for individuals who are: - a man between the ages of 21 and 45 - a current social drinker in good physical health - a non-smoker And individuals who have: - no history of treatment for alcohol or other substance abuse -no history of chronic pain - at least one parent with past or current alcohol problems If interested, please email: [email protected]
