HD Installations is a successful independent Office Furniture Installation company that has been in business for over (22) years. We are looking for new members to join our team! We are hiring three full time positions: Warehouse associate, Lead Installer/Driver and Installers/Driver. In these roles, you will be responsible for unloading and loading of trucks, installing furniture according to the directions you receive, and assembling items on-site. You will also help prep the job site and clean up after the installation is complete. All applicants must have the physical ability to load and unload furniture items from the delivery truck. You must also have a valid driver license to drive the truck from our warehouse to various job locations. While it is not required, previous carpentry work or experience using hand and power tools is a plus. Warehouse Duties and Responsibilities • Unload and load the truck • Be able to check off load, per packing list and verify all items are received • Inspect product for any visible damage, document any damage with parts numbers and take photos for receiving report • Tag all product received and returned to warehouse • Neatly separate trash and cardboard • Organize equipment in warehouse • Clean warehouse • Assemble furniture as needed in warehouse (tools will be provided) • Thoroughly pull orders and safely load trucks • Maintain a safe and clean workspace Warehouse Requirements and Qualifications • Must have receiving/shipping experience • Active Driver's license • Familiarity with basic hand tools • Ability to follow directions • Physical strength to perform heavy lifting • Mechanical skills • Able to drive forklift • At times drive a 16-foot and 24-foot box truck to jobsite Furniture Installer/Driver Duties and Responsibilities • Load and unload the truck • Install furniture according to drawings • Wall mount cabinets and bookshelves • Prep and clean up the job site • Assemble furniture as needed • Maintain a safe and clean workspace • Lead Install team – lead duties Furniture Installer Requirements and Qualifications • Active Driver's license • Familiarity with basic hand tools • Clean driving record to be added to company insurance • Ability to follow directions • Physical strength to perform heavy lifting • Able to read blueprints • Mechanical skills • Able to install different manufacturers such as Allsteel, Haworth, Steelcase, etc. • Installation of freestanding furniture, cubicle and wall mounted products • Lead duties: all the above and the ability to manage Installers and delegate orders to complete the installation of project, per scope of work. Also be able to perform completion walk-thru with customer and document punch list items needing correction. Job Type: Full-time Pay: DOE Schedule: • 8-hour shift, plus overtime • Monday to Friday and some weekends • Maybe required to work some evening projects
