The hybrid forum will highlight how the incarcerated community is in fact one community on different sides of the wall that serve the sentence together. As there is an overwhelming socio-mental-economic impact on the mothers, wives, sisters, daughters, nieces, etc. and the many women separated from the love one incarcerated over decades. Various stakeholders from across city/state agencies, religious/faith leaders, family/friends of the incarcerated, educators, researchers, etc. will collaborate to create a plan of action that begins to mitigate the impact and repair the damage to women and communities over decades.
