My name is Johanna Hensley.  I own and operate Awaken Reiki and Energy Healing in Texarkana, TX. I began practicing anesthesia as a Nurse Anesthetist in 2018 after graduating from Texas Wesleyan University. Today, my understanding of health prioritizes wellness of the mind and the spirit, in addition to wellness of the physical body. I discovered Reiki after the loss of my father and quickly realized its potential as a universal healing modality. I enrolled in Reiki classes with the goal of helping others find true well-being. I studied Gemstone and Crystal Integration with Reverend Barbara Matsura in Sedona, AZ, and became an ICRT certified Reiki Master under Kris Valentine in June of 2022. I am passionate about expanding my practice and plan to continue my Reiki education to become a Holy Fire Karuna Reiki® Master in May of 2023. I am looking forward to working with you this weekend!
