Description

Dessert Auction: Once again we are raising funds with our delicious dessert auction where all the proceeds benefit the Tahoma Girls Swim & Dive team. This final fundraiser replenishes the budget and sets the team up for the following year. Don’t forget to bring cash as you & your table will be bidding for the coveted position of first in line to pick the dessert of your choice! Desserts Needed for Auction: If you are creative. love to bake, or enjoy desserts, we are looking for 14 desserts (homemade or embellished bakery items) that will serve 8-10 people each. Please list your dessert item on the banquet volunteer sign-up sheet. If you have a dessert stand, please bring it with you to the banquet as they help show off the dessert. Here is how the auction works: Desserts are on display for all to preview, you can look but no touching. Discuss with your tablemates which dessert you like and start stuffing the numbered envelope on your table with money. Please know your priority is to have fun with this activity and second is to raise money for next year’s team. An announcement will be made when it is time for the envelopes to be collected and the bids to be counted. The table with the most money will get the first pick, the second highest bid will go next, and so on. These funds will contribute to next years budget and we hope to put a scholarship fund together, if the amount collected allows. Secret Sister Reveal: The girls will be revealing who they had as a secret sister this season. The girls usually bring about a $10-$15 gift for their secret sister. The girls will drop off their gifts on a table at the banquet. Other items: Please bring back the lanyards and plastic name tags so we can use them again next year. Keep the photo of your daughter. You can drop them off at the banquet.
